1. Introduction
VitaeMail Pro ("the App") is a Shopify application developed by Miodrag Vuin ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.
2. Information We Collect
When you install and use VitaeMail Pro, we collect the following data:
- Store information: Your Shopify store domain and shop name.
- Customer data: Customer email addresses and names from your Shopify store, used solely to send emails you configure through the App.
- Order data: Order details used to populate email templates.
- Email configuration: Your Amazon SES credentials (stored encrypted), email templates, and automation settings.
- Email analytics: Open rates, click rates, bounce rates, and complaint data.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Send automated transactional and marketing emails via Amazon SES.
- Display email analytics and performance metrics.
- Process webhook events to trigger automations.
- Improve App functionality and reliability.
4. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored on secure servers in the European Union (Germany). Amazon SES credentials are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as required to deliver the App (Amazon SES).
5. Third-Party Services
- Amazon SES: Used to send emails. Amazon Privacy Policy applies.
- Shopify: Store data accessed via Shopify API as authorized during installation.
6. Data Retention
Data is retained while the App is installed. Email logs are retained for 90 days. Upon uninstallation, all data is deleted within 30 days.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)

8. Customer Data Requests (Shopify GDPR)
- Customer data request: Data provided within 30 days.
- Customer data erasure: Data deleted within 30 days of request.
- Shop data erasure: All data deleted within 30 days of uninstallation.
